Brief Explanation
Unity, the latest Assassin’s Creed release was conceived to feature cooperative multiplayer gameplay. As such, Joseph Kosinski's trailer does not stage just one hero: it stages thousands of them. And every single one of them was designed by the fans, then re-introduced and animated, one by one. An interactive version of the film enabled online users to find their avatar, or those created by their friends, in the thick of the action. And a few lucky fans even got the surprise to find their avatars posted in the streets of their cities.
Creative Execution
For this epic animated trailer, in contrast of the images from the 1789 french revolution, we chose a contemporary music who could give a modern sound to a part of history. To turn this little drop into a river, we wanted to have a dramatic introduction which slowly got bigger as the anger of the crowd grew.
In addition, the rhythm and the chorus of the original track by FLUME give a soul to this revolution.
