Brief Explanation
Sven strongly believes that in order to attract a new young audience a classic symphony should never be longer than 4 minutes, however it should still keep all the ingredients of a traditional symphony. The logo should reflect this new and quite cocky take on classical music.
The Brief
Design a logo for "Pocket Symphonies", a classical music project by internationally renowned composer Sven Helbig released by the famous record label Deutsche Grammophon.
How the final design was conceived
We turned Sven’s "I don't care about all the classical music must-haves"-attitude into a simple and quickly recognizable pictogram.
Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
The logo design was successfully adapted for a CD cover and album launch as well as for merchandise, a promotional film and all of the artist's digital media channels.
