Brief Explanation
Capture 20 years of LRM in an annual report that doesn’t disappear into the archives (or worse, the bin), but has a place on the desks of the entrepreneurs in Limburg.
The Brief
For 20 years now, the ‘Limburgse Reconversie Maatschappij’ has worked on the significant and fundamental changeover of Limburg, a Belgian region with a rich mining history. An anniversary to be noted.
Our task: deliver an overview of the accomplishments – an annual report -, but one that captures the imagination.
How the final design was conceived
As a statement to their accomplishments, we decided to go big. A huge atlas, specifically, to literally put them on the map. An atlas that combined the works of LRM with facts and figures about the region.
Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
After the annual report was presented at an exclusive party to 500 stakeholders and politicians, it became a veritable collector’s item. The numerous requests LRM still receives every week bear testament to that.
