Brief Explanation
The smart fortwo always aspires to be the perfect city car. That's why we aimed not only to highlight the benefit of the electric engine but also picture the smart electric drive as a city icon.
The Brief
Demonstrate the effect of the silent electric engine of the smart electric drive to its urban
environment.
How the final design was conceived
Inspired by typical urban styles like street art and graffiti, we visualised the effect of its silent engine to the city with different motives only consisting of typography underlining the urban culture of the smart electric drive. Typical words for every kind of noise form all components of a city. The only area left blank is the iconic silhouette of a smart electric drive.
Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
Besides its publication time period our campaign gain additional attention by being mentioned and published in design blogs and online magazines as well as advertising press.
