Brief Explanation
The look & feel needed to be fashionable, bold and modern.
The Brief
Create and design a corporate design for the new jewellry label ALEKS STERNEN.
How the final design was conceived
Using the initials of the owner "ALEKS STERNEN" (translated ALEKS STAR), we created a logo that represents a stargate. More over, we wanted the logo to become an integral part of his products. Therefore we decided early, that the logo needed to fulfill a product function. In this case, it has become the closing mechanism for bracelets chains, bags and other products.
Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
The allover look&feel, plus the unique closing mechanism has had it desired impact: In an over-saturated jewelry market ALEKS STERNEN established itself as a competitive contender.
