Brief Explanation
Packaging is for a consumer product which means that it is sold in almost every grocery store. First production run was 620 000 cs in year 2013. We had to use package format, material and finishings which are suitable for mass production.
The Brief
Confectionary maker Cloetta wanted to make their non branded Allsorts liquorice stand out from the competition.
How the final design was conceived
We responded with packaging that placed a firm focus on the distinctive shapes and colours of the famous liquorice. We maximized the space for appealing graphics with a simple and functional packaging format. We placed the candy varieties on the four sides of the packaging and printed them in radiant colours. This made it possible to build visually powerful display solutions in stores. The bold and playful packaging also helps consumers to easily identify the contents of the box.
Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
Simple and efficient functionality serves very well logistics and appealing graphic design. Basic erconomic solution is familiar and easy to use.
