Brief Explanation
The beauty world offers a lot of different design. The big challenge is therefore to make something unique, compelling and desirable. Something that tells the unique story about Föllinge’s organic and locally produced skin care products. Something that both deliver a high quality product and a strong story based on origin and heritage to the conscious consumer of today.
The Brief
A complete redesign of a locally based organic skin care products brand. Aim: A high quality organic brand with a strong local connection that attracts a broader consumer group than today, both in the Nordics and on an international market. A specific goal is also to get shelf space in the Swedish pharmacies.
How the final design was conceived
Föllinge is a brand and also the name of a small village in the north of Sweden where all their products are developed. Inspired by the pure Nordic nature, the handcrafted process and the unique knowledge that is needed to develop these organic master pieces, a new visual identity was developed. The end result is a visual expression that communicates expertise, craftsmanship, origin and authenticity.
Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
The design is now being launched in the Nordics and has already resulted in many new orders for Föllinge. Feedback from consumers has also been very positive and enthusiastic.
