Brief Explanation
the challenge was to have something that could persist in the clients mind and delivery our creative attitude.
The Brief
150 artists, 31 countries, more than 200 works: this is the result of the communication path that our agency and Eni started in 2010, introducing a new language and establishing a persistent relationship with the artists.We have to develop a creative way of collecting the results of this collaboration.
How the final design was conceived
We needed something more than a album work, we needed something that could not be forgotten on a library.
With a custom designed hardcover, it collects the most outstanding works, one on each page. It is made with the technique of origami: the folded pages have irregular shapes that keep the book from closure. This allows to read the name of the agency on the side of the book.
Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
The outcome exceeded the clients expectation: instead of a book collecting 4 years of artwork the album iteself resulted into an artwork.
