Brief Explanation
To design something that offers the often jaded fans of the genre something fresh and exciting.
The Brief
The Psyko-Store offers horror, thriller and slasher fans a huge selection of gruesome and uncanny films, comics, and figures.
How the final design was conceived
For the shop’s campaign, the artist created three finely-detailed pencil drawings of his own personal nightmares. The much loved portrait style of the design to depict not-such-loveable subjects dramatized the normality of the Psycho-Store’s abnormality.
Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
The posters were loved so much by the customers that they had to be reprinted and were sold at the store in huge numbers.
