Brief Explanation
Uloba both wanted to sell a service, and also support the disabled in their fight to participate in society. In the film it was important to balance the information with a human and including approach. The key objective was to stand out from other communication with the disabled, as a provider of independent living, not just medical aid. With a small budget, it was challenging, but it inspired us to search for an even more distinct look to help Uloba stand out from other service providers within the category.
The Brief
The client wanted to inform the disabled about the service "personal assistant" to help them live their life as normal as possible. The service does not provide medical aid, and Uloba rather wanted to keep the focus on enabling the disabled to an independent life.
How the final design was conceived
We wanted to balance the information from the voice over with a more emotional environment. In close partnership with the illustrator, we developed a unique animated universe describing “just another day” for a blind father and his small daughter. We wanted a simple, clear design, where the persons still came out as characters the target group could easily relate to.
Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
The campaign is still going on, and the trend shows an increase in the awareness regarding the service as well as the number of new assistants hired. The film has also become a tool in the political work towards government and county officials.
