Cargo Madness was uploaded on YouTube where it’s been viewed over 300,000 times. It was also featured on different trucker blogs via the Unruly network.
Cargo Madness was the 4th most shared ad in Sweden during the campaign period. And the number of contestants in Scania Driver Competitions increased with around 35% from 2012. From 75,000 to 100,000 truck drivers.
Scania Driver Competitions consists of a series of competitions where the truck drivers’ skills are put to the test, both through theory tests and through hands-on driving tests. The competitions are usually held every second year and since the start in 2003 more than 200 000 truck drivers from more than 40 markets have participated.
This year Scania wanted the competition to be about more than just driving skills. The winner of Scania Driver Competitions 2014 needs to be able to handle more than just his truck.
