Creative Execution

The Saimaa Seal is one of the world’s most endangered seals and it can only be found in Lake Saimaa. In Finland everybody knows the Saimaa Seal "Saimaannorppa", and they would be delighted to tickle it and make it smile.  We proved this to be true. Campaign was launched nationwide in Finland and media was Finland's largest newspaper Helsingin Sanomat and it's tablet version.

The campaign engagement percent was outstanding – over 11 times better than the average, from 3% to 33.5 %. Traffic in website grew almost 50 % compared to average month. Several consumers sent e-mail to goSaimaa organization only to tell how pleased they were to see such a delightful advertisement.

Target of the campaign was to create appealing image of Saimaa region as a traveling destination and present the usually not-so-inspiring price based tactical holiday offers in a unique, fun and engaging way.
