The Campaign

We brought the old family game dominoes to the 21st century, creating a cutting edge, interactive adventure that is fun to play for both young and old on their mobile devices. In this Multi Mobile Adventure, the game characters move from one bizarre world to the next. Since they are streaming during this journey they have no time to look where they are going so the players need to help them, guiding them through as many worlds as possible without crashing by lining up multiple devices. If they crash, it’s game over!

Creative Execution

It is a completely web-based experience, so there is no need to download any apps. We employed web-socket technology to ensure that we could span the adventure over multiple devices while keeping everything in sync. WebGL was used in order to ensure the animations were smooth and allowed us to bring the crazy fantasy worlds to life while offering many interactive elements to keep the user engaged.

Tele2’s Multi Mobile Adventure was an instant hit, with more than 100.000 people of all ages playing the adventure. The average game time was almost 8 minutes, more than twice the benchmark for branded web based games. (Source: Verto Analytics) In total, people played a combined total of 312.000 minutes... thats 7,5 months of brand engagement!

Our research showed us that the elderly use almost as much data as their younger counterparts. While this being great, now literally everyone is on their phone at the dinner table. So could we change that? Could we create something that the whole family could play together at the table using their phones?
