Brief Explanation
The film is a television spot which is a part of a multichannel, integrated campaign.
Our goal was to refresh an old-fashioned and boring image of the most popular Polish chocolate bar – Prince Polo.
The campaign was based on a true, but completely overlooked fact of Prince Polo’s phenomenal popularity on Iceland. The brand has played such an important role in Icelanders’ lives that their president once said: ‘whole generations of Icelanders grew up with Coca –Cola and Polish Prince Polo.’
The film tells a story about Icelanders’ love for the Polish Prince Polo and introduces the campaign’s face – Gunnar. He is a true Icelander who loves the chocolate bar as much as any other habitant of the island. Gunnar visits Poland to find Polish ‘that it’ - a national virtue that is responsible for creating Icelanders’ favourite bar.
