Brief Explanation

German supermarket EDEKA and WWF committed themselves to sustainability. They mainly address young people with this film, because children are the future. One morning little Emma wakes up with large dark circles around her eyes. She quickly covers them with her older sister’s make-up and rides her bike to school. Suddenly, tiny panda-ears appear on her head. In class she gives a lecture on a sustainable schoolyard-project she developed. The whole class is laughing, because a bushy panda-tail is peeking out of her pants. Throughout the course of the film, Emma turns into a panda. The more responsible she interacts with her environment, the faster her transformation takes place. Finally it all becomes clear: Little things can change the world – as it is said in the soundtrack. And Emma is not alone. Anyone can turn into a panda – for a more sustainable future.
