Brief Explanation

Christmas is the culinary event of the year – a time when people want to serve their guests something very special. This puts many a host under pressure, especially when the mother-in-law is expected. This is precisely the insight our commercial spotlights. Our protagonist is in despair because she can’t get the roast goose to turn out right. That is, until the door to the world of REWE literally opens to her. In the end, she more than impresses her mother-in-law. The soundtrack to the commercial puts a new spin on the lyrics and music to Gloria Gaynor’s hit “I Will Survive”.#SurviveXmas
