Brief Explanation
Terrorism, refugees and right-wing extremists cause people worldwide to be concerned about security. Yet those who ensure Germany’s and our personal safety are often hindered in their work – paradoxically even by violence towards them.
The Federal Ministry of the Interior’s campaign “Strong for you. Strong for Germany” (TV, Online, Print) aims to restore both people’s respect for police and emergency services and their general feeling of trust and safety.
Therefore, it stages real members of police and emergency services rather than actors. Impressive and authentic scenes show them in exactly those situations typical of their daily work, yet which people rarely get to witness: the moments where they fight the hardest and risk everything.
The main video is particularly emotional. The scenes are accompanied by the heroes’ very personal statements. These reveal the persons behind the uniforms and their individual reasons for their motivation to be strong for us.
