Brief Explanation
The 24 hours of Le Mans are said to be the worlds most toughest race and it is one with long tradition and a great heritage for Porsche. In 2017 it wasn’t looking good for the Porsche team. Held up by technical problems, one of two cars in the top class retired early. The other one fell back about 40 positions after an hour long repair in the middle of the night. Once on track again the car fought its way to the top all the way through the night and passed the last car in the late afternoon about one hour before end of race. Porsche ended up finishing first, winning Le Mans.
The film was re-written and adapted on site over the course of the events aligning Porsche brand values with the dramatic story of the race. With a universal message for everyone: Never give up.
