Brief Explanation
VALENTINO PAYS TRIBUTE TO BRITISHNESS WITH ITS LATEST FILM: “TWO AND EIGHT IN A STATE”
Valentino Uomo FW17 campaign is launched with a young and punk style fashion film shot in London.
Pierpaolo Piccioli and art director Riccardo Ruini collaborated this time with Kes Glozier, a young film director exploring contemporary British counter-culture, to create a personal piece that cherishes the British legacy and mood of punk style which is so impregnated in the latest mens collection of Valentino.
Accompanied by the song "The Idles Chant” from Bristol’s underbelly, incendiary post-punk music band The Idles, the film follows a stylish and young entourage, showing a piece from their careless and light-hearted daily life as they wander around in their neighborhood in London. Keeping an energetic and rebellious tone of voice, the film continues with an unexpected and humorous take which celebrates individuality and diversity.
