Brief Explanation
We set several bicycles on the streets of Barcelona and locked them with different security level locks – chains, U-locks and combinations of locks. Then we set a bike thief loose. He had to steal them on busy main streets full of people in broad daylight within a time limit.
We filmed the attempts with hidden camera setups, to test the sturdiness of the locks and the reactions of the unsuspecting public. That way we taught the audience what is a proper approach to secure your bike in public.
