Brief Explanation
A father talks about how he decided to make his daughter quit school and get her a job after hearing about the pay gap on television. We follow the duo in a documentary style film that shows the young girl at her job. She works in a big office, surrounded by adults. She talks through a headphone to a person we can’t see and says things like: “It’s freezing and snowing in New York. We need global warming.” Or “It’s going to be tremendous, it’s going to be terrific.” When she’s saying “I will be…” the image switches to Donald Trump giving a speech. He completes the sentence: “... the greatest jobs president that God ever created.” The girl is Trump’s speechwriter. The film ends with “Start sooner for an equal pay later. Or close the pay gap on equalpayday.eu.”
