Brief Explanation
« The Beauty of the World » plays on an apparent paradox. On the idea that you can find true beauty in the darkest places in the world. It is up to everyone to help create that beauty. As we see a Syrian city destroyed by war, a voice-over talks about the « The Beauty of the World ». It explains that paradoxically, it sometimes takes horror to see the purest beauty. We finally understand why when we see a wounded little girl, resuscitated by a volunteer female doctor who is risking her own life by being there.
