Write a short summary of what happens in the film

Christmas ist the time of the year we celebrate love and togetherness; the time you want to be close to your family and friends. However, that's a little difficult for Henry the hedgehog, who struggles to find new friends in school, because all the other animals in his class are afraid of his sharp quills. Thankfully his friend Squirrel comes up with an idea which they present to him on Christmas Day. This little tale of friendship and love shows that if not only you but also your fellows believe in you, then no obstacle is too big to conquer.

Tell the jury about type(s) of animation used and summarise any relevant challenges or techniques.

Henry’s world was fully designed in CG which gave us enough creative freedom to make the woodland creatures deem human and thus relatable. Our forest animals walk on their back legs, use objects like humans and wear garments. All in order to help people to identify even more with Henry and his story. The 3D characters were created in the style of old felt puppets to create a tactile and nostalgic feel. Their cute faces and design helped cut through the masses of Christmas adverts online.
