Opening on an industrial military base, we see troops of soldiers trying to secure an unseen creature in a giant metal container. While the soldiers fire off rounds, the metal box starts to shake and dent as the monster tries to escape. When tranquilliser rounds fail to penetrate the skin of this unseen creature, one brave driver offers to insert the sedative orally.

Tell the jury about the elements of sound design.
The brief on VW ‘Monster’ was to create this filmic world and the voice of the worldly beast. Various animal sounds were experimented with and processed in different ways to create the presence of this unseen creature. Many hours were spent working on the foley and spot effects to build up the intensity of this world.
