Write a short summary of what happens in the film
This film introduces a young man living the SoMe-influencer-lifestyle to the fullest, wildly indulging in all the perks. But, lately he’s begun to feel weighted by the struggle of reinventing himself, working hard to maintain his edge. Also, it doesn’t help that anyone with 10k followers can call themselves influencers these days. He starts contemplating doing something even more meaningful, or maybe a new line of work altogether. Could there be any even more meaningful work out there?
He entertains the thought before concluding on leaving the meaningful work to those who do it well, and sticking to whatever it is he is doing.
Cultural / Context information for the jury
As Norway’s largest public sector pension company, KLP takes care of doctors, nurses, firefighters, ambulance personnel, et cetera. In short, people doing work that really matters.
While social media influencers may seem important and happy. Honest meaningful work is still what matters most.
KLP follows their members through their whole careers and beyond by providing them with benefits and financial services throughout and even afterwards with a great pension.

Making fun of influencers is easy, but making it fun takes effort. The influencer lifestyle we showed had to be credible, yet funny and our main characters outfits had to hit those same marks. We used several iconic influencer destinations like Tulum and the nightlife of Cancun to add credibility.
Great detail went into the 20+ costumes especially created for this. We only get to see 14 in the movie, but the range og fabrics, style, colours and amount of details in accessories is huge. References like the the silver puffer jacket with a pink hoodie in style of Kim and Kanye, the orange Samsonite on the beach, the nod to the debate about cultural appropriation, the facemasks that made it big at the paris fashion week, the really small sunglasses that made a ripple last year with celebrities like Rihanna etc. The detail making this influencer funny but true.
