Write a short summary of what happens in the film
The short stories take place (and were captured) in-game. Each one tells a little story taking form of children tales, reinforced by the music, the voice over and the animated cartoons.
The Ghosts are facing their enemies, the Wolves: they are hiding or escaping from them. During each story, the characters and the environment are transformed in Pop Culture’s animations (classic animated cartoons, mangas, comics). These stories show the new features of the game : camouflage oneself, nurse own injuries, carry teammate to keep him safe and provide him care or use fighting drones to kill Wolves remotely.
Cultural / Context information for the jury
Video games have the most complicated and demanding audience. We must constantly reinvent ourselves with surprising assets. Moreover, Ubisoft asked us to communicate about the game’s new features and it’s not the most exciting subjet to talk about, specially on social media.
So, we decided to create different kind of films, mixing in-game sequences and animated cartoons while taking the opposite side of the game, to tell five children tales featuring the Ghost Recon’s heros.
