Write a short summary of what happens in the film
PENNY started a nationwide movement making natural food accessible to everybody: Organic Food for all.
In the film we tell the story of a flourishing city in a musical style. In idyllically imaginative images, PENNY encourages everyone to start their own journey into a better, healthier life. Headed by German superstar NENA the crowd gains momentum throughout the film.
Cultural / Context information for the jury
The organic market size has tripled in the last 15 years. Organic food customers spend about 10€ more per purchase. Too much for our target group. The campaign is aimed at all PENNY customers, 44% of whom are affected by poverty.
PENNY's own brand Naturgut was introduced in 2014, but still too few people know the brand. In order to strengthen its position as a sustainable discounter, PENNY nevertheless expanded its Naturgut range to 25 different 100% organic foods.
Just in time to start a healthy new year with PENNY, our spot aired premiered worldwide on January 3rd and in German TV on January 6th. The campaign will run for two years. From January 7th, various limited NENA products were available in participating markets for 99 cents each: "Frucht-Kix" and "Bio-Säfte".
