Write a short summary of what happens in the film

Thanks to over 150 eco-friendly projects, Deutsche Bahn, Germany’s railway company, is committed to protecting the environment. The film was shot all across Germany and showcases many of these projects such as falcon protection, nature hiking trails, renewable electricity trains, fish conservation, hydropower plants, solar power and giving land to beekeepers. The song ‘Feeling Good’ by Nina Simone is the beating heart of the film and gives it a lightsome tone. Each verse of the lyrics perfectly fits a green project in particular.

Tell the jury anything relevant about the edit. Do not name the editor.

The trains from Deutsche Bahn ride straight to a destination. Therefore, the edit needed to give the audience this sense of continuity too. We didn’t want to have just a series of vignettes showcasing a specific eco-friendly project. That’s why we decided to use seamless transitions that made the viewer feel as if the entire film was a smooth train ride with different entertaining stops. The song ‘Feeling Good’ by Nina Simone sets the pacing of the edit, which starts slow but picks up speed towards the end. Each verse of the lyrics is related to an actual green project from Deutsche Bahn.
