Background
Claiton, formerly Yallotrade, is an innovative insuretech company within vehicle insurance, currently operating in US, Germany, Sweden and Denmark. When they approached us, they transitioned from used car dealer to insuretech company with an automated platform to simplify the claims process. Thus, improving customer satisfaction and profitability for insurance companies. Their brand, however, had not made that same journey. We were asked to lead their brand transformation. All within a budget, slightly below 60.000 USD.
Describe the creative idea (40% of vote)
Our process started with a new brand strategy and story centered around the promise: from pain to claim – in just 24 hours. We changed the name Yallotrade to Claiton, inspired by the word “claim”, AI and automation. We positioned them in between the playfulness of the fintech world and the seriousness of the insurance world. Innovative enough to convey the AI component of their product, yet serious enough to show their understanding of the insurance category. And an overall human approach to show who they are in business for: the consumer.
Describe the execution (40% of vote)
A sophisticated 2D and 3D graphic language and motion behavior was developed to convey the shiftiness and efficiency of the AI process. A color palette of green and blue created a more positive expression to the brand, while showing affinity to the insurance industry. And a warm and people-focused image style was developed to communicate their consumer focus. Next step was developing the key touch-points: website, product interface, customer presentations and comprehensive brand guidelines.
List the results (20% of vote)
The work has been extremely well-received by both the organization and Claiton’s customers. Our rebrand helped Claiton to strengthen their position as an insuretech company at the forefront of the industry. A player to be counted with today, with the drive to look beyond the present, searching and finding the next solutions for their customers. In short, a brand transformation as stand-out and efficient as Claiton’s product.
