Background
Obeliu distillery is known for crafting strong alcohol drinks made from local herbs and ingredients. They decided to add one more SKU to it - hand crafted vodka. We were commissioned to develop legend for the drink and create label design.
Describe the creative idea (40% of vote)
Obeliu distillery was established in 1907 and was on the peak of its fame in the 1930’s when it was owned by the family of count Pšezdeckis. For the launch of this hand crafted vodka we searched archives of the distillery and found photo of countess Pšezdeckis herself working at the distillery and corking the bottles. This photo became the main element of the label and the whole story of the new product.

Authentic photo from archives of distillery is the main and most important element of the design. All other graphic elements and information adds to this nostalgic and true story.
