Write a short summary of what happens in the film
This is part of a campaign that aims to promote adult products for men, and film tells the story about a man and his great love...
We follow the story of a man and his true, lifelong love; his right hand. The set-up is a classic love story montage. They start off happy and in love, but as time goes by the relationship staggers and the spark between them gets colder and colder. In the end we see how the "couple" has lost their interest in each other.
Cultural / Context information for the jury
Research shows that most Norwegians, including men, think it's both normal and empowering for women to use sex toys. When it comes to the men the numbers are almost opposite. Even men themselves don't want to try sex toys, because it's still frowned upon. And the reason for this is that nobody talks about sex toys for men.
Brands like Kondomeriet are bound by several regulations in Norway. Especially regarding what they can show in their ads, and when and where they are allowed to show them. Kondomeriet is not allowed payed promotions on platforms like Facebook, Google and YouTube, so tv becomes important to get their message out.
So we have to make sure that the stories we tell (and how we tell them) can be safely shown on tv, AND that they won't be caught in the censorship of the sosial media.
