Write a short summary of what happens in the film
Discovering several walls of the house smeared with children's drawings, a father gets angry and looks everywhere for his son, shouting his name: "Boris!" But when he finds him, he immediately calms down: lying on the floor, scribbling on the living room carpet, Leo is a very muscular, patient-looking adult. His father explains in a soft voice that felt-tip pens are very difficult to clean. Then he hands him a pad of paper and explains that it will be better if he draws on it because they can put his drawings on the walls. Leo holds out his hand and, when he grabs the pad, he regains his childlike stature. He then resumes his scribbling, but on the pad of paper. His father leaves quietly. Overprint: "What if we imagined that our children were stronger than us?
Cultural / Context information for the jury
There are no cultural or contextual elements specific to France in this film, the violence of parents towards their children is unfortunately universal.
Tell the jury anything relevant about the direction. Do not name the director.
For the direction, we wanted to have something very natural and human, to feel the tension and being close to the Dad, to see him in his everyday life and how little by little, childish things can push you out of your mind. We loved the idea of discovering the child at the end first with his small hand. Everything back to normal.
