Write a short summary of what happens in the radio or audio work.

The radio ad is a full-blown Christmas jingle, 2min 52sec of Snoop Dogg rapping about all his favourite things to eat during the Christmas period, whilst incorporating the brands name and their “Did Somebody Say Just Eat” distinctive brand jingle - delivered in a way only Snoop can. The song was officially released through Snoop’s label, ‘Doggy Style Records’ and was available to stream on all major platforms inc. Tell the jury about the use of music

Just Eat had a powerful distinctive asset - the ‘Did Somebody Say Just Eat’ jingle. More importantly, we had Snoop Dogg as the face of the brand. The first iteration of the Snoop campaign left the public crying out for more. So when the Christmas came around, Just Eat wanted to go against the grain of sentimental tear-jerking campaigns, and bring some joy in an unexpected way. We didn’t want to make an advert, we wanted to make entertainment. The only way we could blur those lines and get the audience onboard was to keep things authentic with a Christmas jingle to rival Mariah. The music track was released officially on Snoop’s label and the lyrics, instrumental and flow needed to sound like it would fit within his past catalogue of music. There aren’t many rappers that can pull off a festive track, but Snoop is one of them.
