Write a short summary of what happens in the radio or audio work.
To attract the attention of Spotify curators, we created a song and a music video made from the official Spotify playlists. Taking a unique approach to song writing and sound building, Twin Toes Ingeniously put 33 Spotify playlists names together a gave them a new meaning: a heartbreak that we would try to forget through streaming music. Taking inspiration from 2000s indie vibes and videogame soundtracks slotting these nuanced samples into stories made from words that don’t mean much separately yet come together as a tale rooted in love and loss.
Translation. Provide a full English translation of any audio.
Lyrics made only with Spotify playlists names:
Lost in the woods
Alone again
Déjà vu
A walk alone
Totally stress free
Flashback
You & Me
Walking on sunshine
Easy
Walking back to happiness
Slow dancing in the living room
Lost in the woods
Drifting apart
Walk like a badass
My life is a movie
Love yourself You can do it
Daydreamer
Breathe Calm Down
Wake up and smell the coffee
Sleep tight
Locked in
In the arms of a woman
Hawaiian dreams
Sand between my toes
Leche con chocolate
Lost in the woods
Drifting apart
Walk like a badass
My life is a movie
Lost in the woods
Drifting apart
Walk like a badass
My life is a movie
Feeling good feeling great
Get home Happy
Text me back
Happy Beats
Positive Vibes
A perfect day
You & me
Warm Fuzzy Feeling
Lost in the woods
Alone again
Déjà vu
Cultural / Context information for the jury
Spotify Playlists rule today’s music industry. With their billions of listeners, they became even more influent than radio stations.
But how to get there? It’s not easy to stand out in the 60,000 everyday new releases on Spotify.
So for their debut single, Brussels duo Twin Toes wrote a song only using official Spotify playlists.
Please outline the innovative elements of the work
