“Oddly satisfying” videos are an online phenomenon that makes the whole world excited of clips
in which something unexpectedly fits perfectly to something else. We cut the best “perfect
videos” we could find into an epic compilation like the ones on YouTube. The grand finale is our
smart fortwo gliding effortlessly in to a parking spot.
Cultural / Context information for the jury
The “oddly satisfying” videos are an online phenomenon that many people think of as very
relaxing. Something fits perfectly to something else unexpected. Like the door that barely glides
past the shelf. We looked for the coolest “oddly satisfying” videos and created an online video
that blends seamlessly among the other compilations on social media. The final clip shows the
smart fortwo gliding in to a parking spot – definitely one of the most satisfying things to watch
in the city.
