Write a short summary of what happens in the film
A great blue heron flies above a typically Dutch landscape. It looks like a beautifully made nature documentary. In the meanwhile we hear David Attenborough as voice over talking about the fact that the blue heron has evolved into being the hooligan among birds. The bird approaches a large bridge, looks at it and relieves itself. We see the shit falling down towards the bridge. We now cut to a man at home watching this scene (documentary) on his television. Relieved, he sees the shit just missing the bridge. The title makes clear why he is so enthusiastic about the miss. He is the engineer of the bridge. And like the final title says: Antea group is home of proud engineers.
Cultural / Context information for the jury
The Blue heron has evolved into a very brutal bird in the Netherlands. He is now most of the time seen in urban areas like backyards to steal out of the bin and fish out of the pond. It’s very uncommon (this is the first time) for an engineering company to advert on Dutch television. This film is a direct result of the CEO promising his employees a big nationwide television ad.
