Describe the target audience and why your work is relevant to them.
Our target audience have endured chronic migraine for too long. They are constantly battling a lack of understanding coupled with the media trivialising the impact of the disease. This has led to substandard solutions and our audience constantly feel powerless in migraine’s grip.
Write a short summary of what happens in the film
The film portrays five lifestyle scenarios carefully selected to depict a cross-section of the migraine audience and to illustrate the breadth of situations in which migraine can hit. We see a predatory, shapeshifting monster lurking and stalking within these scenarios, and five characters initially looking worried or fearful that migraine is once again creeping into their life. This monster is a visual representation of vivid descriptions of patient migraines.
The film edits sharply between the stories as each character comes face to face with the creature that constantly haunts their life, until a dramatic climax drives our characters to finally stand up to migraine, turning the tables on the monster that has impacted their life for so long.
The film closes with positive resolutions of the beast finally being tamed and a clear, succinct call to action gives our audience the hope and confidence to ask for preventive treatments.
