Tell the jury about the production design/art direction.
When filming superstar footballers and supermodels you never have much time.
We knew we only had a couple of hours and had to make every second count.
So instead of flying Neymar Jr and Emily Ratajowsky to another country where a location was more feasible to create a futuristic post-apocalyptic world overrun by zombies, we decided to bring the futuristic post-apocalyptic world and the zombies to them, by transforming the under the passage of Stade De Paris.
Sketches and set designs were drawn up based on photos of the location.
With props and set builds used to transform the under passage into a deserted city street.
Neon signage and hand painted wall signage was created to ensure the location and era felt undefined.
City backdrops of winding alleyways and streets were created in post to expand the universe.
From Stade De Paris to Stade Zombie in 24 hours.
Write a short summary of what happens in the film
The live action anime film sees Brazilian footballer Neymar Jr. and model and Actress Emily Ratajkowski battle it out against the uptight ‘Stiff Jeans Zombies’ in a post-apocalyptic futuristic world. Wearing the new Replay Hyperflex+ full 3D stretch Jeans, Neymar Jr. and Emily Ratajkowski use there newly enhanced high kicking kung-fu flexible capabilities to defeat the conformist evils of fashion and bring some style back to the streets.
