Tell the jury anything relevant about the cinematography.
We needed to be ultra-precise. To synchronize lights, actors, set design crew, sound, car, motorcycle, literally everything. It took 6 weeks of preproduction and 4 days of rehearsals on the set.
To be 100% analog, we create “animated logo effect”, we even show our Voice Over Artist in the final scene.
Our main actress is also a singer in this commercial, so we needed to make her role easier, for example using her look-alike actors in some scenes.
Write a short summary of what happens in the film
4 different set designs.
1 is “theatrical”, moving scenography, showing sunset on big city street.
2 is a neon-installation, where we show night street.
3 is video mapping with single house and garage.
Between second and third stage we use some trick shot to show “landscape” of whole city. The last one is a music stage. Film is one-shot travel between those stages, with moving car, trick shots and live singing and playing. Oh, and the whole film is broadcasting live during the shooting in biggest polish TV network.
Cultural/Context information for the jury
We love talent shows. Especially live shows. And we love to criticize. So live project as that one attract big attention based on one emotion – is it possible to do to? Are the accomplish live 60’s mastershot?
