Tell the jury about the choice of music track.

While editing the film, we tried hundreds of songs to accompany the pictures. The brief was a song that made people happy, that had a crescendo (just like the ad), and that would work in a large variety of cultures. The song wasn’t the choice anyone would have expected, considering the fact that we had to find a song that would work in the Asian region and have lyrics that work. Finally we found the classic song from The Jungle Book (1967) - “The Bare Necessities” and it was the first time ever Disney allowed the musical rights to a commercial.

Write a short summary of what happens in the film

We’ve all been there. Stuck in traffic. Desperately looking for parking, frustrated and angry and late for a meeting. In this film for Uber in Asia, we want to illustrate how absurd the traffic situation is. And suggest that ride sharing – rather than one man in every car – could be a part of the solution.
