From the first shots we see a family - with a particular focus on communication between father and son. They’re playing the game “who will be the first to finish eating their breakfast”. Dad could win but he lets his son win to make him happy. Then we see an ice-hockey rink – they’re playing together. Father help his son score. After that they go home and once again the father lets his son be the first to make it to the house. The son grows up, the game is different, but the end is very predictable. Then we see not a child but a teenager. He is playing a board game with his mom and dad — but this time things are different. The son knows the answer to the question the father doesn’t. This is the first REAL victory by the son. And dad understands - his little boy has grown up.

Often adults try to let their kids win. However, sooner or later parents understand that the child has grown and is able to win them in an absolutely honest contest.
