Describe the creative idea
Why Not Now is a conversational voice experience that encourages visitors of the 2018 Paris Motor Show to think about what they want to achieve in life. The mirrored booth provides a reflective surrounding, while the voicebot starts a conversation about what is holding them back from experiencing new things. Reacting to their voice, particle effects surround the visitor in a dreamlike atmosphere. Based on the visitors’ answers, the voicebot suggests where their life should take them next supported by inspirational videos of future adventures. After suggesting a next adventure in life, the voice bot asks the visitor: Why not now?
Describe the execution
Using Google’s Dialogflow technology, the voicebot gets to know the visitors preferences, their dreams and perceptions. Are they explorers, dreamers, thrill-seekers? Where would you like your next adventure to bring you, the sky, the sea or the ground? Based on their answers, the experience provides the visitor with a suggestion thats fits their personal preference, supported by inspirational videos of their next possible adventure.
Why not now is the slogan of the new SEAT Tarraco SUV, the most elegant and sophisticated model in the SEAT SUV range. It's a car made for adventure, that is why SEAT wanted to create a moment where people could stop and reflect on what's holding them back in life.
The experience ran throughout the Paris Motor Show (11 days). The design included reflective mirrors surrounding the visitor, accompanied bij particle effects and LED’s providing a color suitable to where their answer led them
