Write a short summary of what happens in the film
On a stressed Christmas eve, a family has traditional porridge for lunch. The little girl, Maya, points out that the barn Santa also needs his porridge. The grown ups quickly throw together some porridge and sends Maya out.
Knock knock. The barn santa comes to the door. He is NOT happy with his porridge. "How hard can it be?!" He enters and shows them how porridge is done. Properly.
As he leaves the kitchen he smiles to Maya. "You haven't seen me, ok? I don't exist."
Cultural/Context information for the jury
IMPORTANT: The barn santa is a central Nordic folklore legend.
He lives in the barn and watches over the animals, but if you are not nice to him, he can be quite angry. (There are stories of killed animals and burnt down farms.)
And the way to treat the barn santa well is by making a bowl of porridge and putting it out on the porch for him on Christmas eve.
