Cultural/Context information for the jury
Agency of the Year (= Vuoden Toimisto) is a survey on customer satisfaction among buyers of marketing communications services. The title 'agency of the year' is awarded annually based on the survey.
To promote the survey and create industry buzz Bob the Robot, back-to-back agency of the year, created a revealing metaphor of the competition. In it their CEO poses as a naked model who is being drawn by the agency’s real-life clients.
Could you imagine Lee Clow posing naked in front of his clients to promote a survey? Or David Droga? Or Wendy Clark? This is the context in Finland. Miska Rajasuo is a well-known face in the Finnish advertising industry and the clients in the picture feature some of the biggest and most influential advertisers in Finland. The ad was placed in Finnish business newspapers and trade magazines.
