Cultural/Context information for the jury
Death penalty is unfortunately still a worrying topic in today’s world. This is a fact – although no one should have the right to decide when somebody must die.
Translation.
These days, there are still people in the death cell waiting for their execution. IGFM is fighting against the death penalty but is in urgent need of supporters.
To generate a maximum impact for the topic, we target people who already are in a special emotional state – while browsing the obituary section of a daily newspaper. There, we created obituaries for real convicts who are sentenced to death. But … their dates of death lie in the future.
Our message: No one should have the right to decide when somebody must die.
